Gemstone Quilts

Add dimension and luminosity to your quilts with gorgeous gemstone piecing! Learn the basics of abstraction and color theory as you piece a stunning work of art with Gem Affiliate, Jayne Nelson.
this is a fun confident beginner quilting class.
Cost is $40 per person for the class. Gemstone pattern is $18.95 plus tax and can be purchased in class.
Gemstone fabrics bundles vary in price and will be available for purchase in class. You may also bring your own fabrics. Gemstones are perfect for solids, batiks, and small prints.
Complete supply list will be emailed after registration.
Minimum class size is 4 and a maximum of 12.

Beginning quilting class
Beginning Quilting Class Supply List
Your $75 registration will include all fabrics needed for your quilt top and binding. Finished quilt will measure 51x51 inches. If you wish to make a larger quilt, additional fabrics will be available for purchase in class. Credit cards are accepted.
Please bring the following items to class: Sewing machine ready to sew, threaded with white thread (I will provide extension cords) If your machine has a ¼ inch foot, you will find that helpful while piecing.
You’ll need a small rotary cutting mat that measures at least 12x12 inches, a Rotary Cutter, Rotary cutting ruler that measures at least 3x12 inches, and sewing notions—pins, thread snips and a seam ripper…just in case!
Our class will start at 10:00 am, but feel free to arrive any time after 9:30 am to get your machine set up. Please let me know if you have any questions. I look forward to our time together!
